Korea Transportation Safety Authority Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters Launches Visiting Care Service for Families Affected by Car Accidents

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (Director Jang Sang-ho) held a “Visiting Care Service Volunteer Group” for families affected by car accidents on the 7th.

It has been arranged to share know-how between volunteers to provide customized services and how to operate visiting care services.

Visiting Care Service is a program that helps people with severe post-disabilities and elderly parents who are suffering from physical and emotional difficulties due to car accidents to live a more stable life with regular protective measures such as visiting care and living support.

Seven customized services are provided, including improvement of living conditions, health, and leisure services.

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters will operate 103 households in Daegu-Gyeongbuk from this month to December to improve the quality of life of families affected by car accidents.

Jang Sang-ho, head of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters, said in a greeting, “It is expected to be a great courage and hope for the families affected by traffic accidents, and the addition of the increasing number of elderly single-person households and the prolonged COVID-19 will greatly help prevent lonely elderly living in social isolation.” 육아휴직
